Hughes with hopefully just a low grade MCL, typically 1-3 weeks so not great news and obviously scans could be worse, we can’t win the comp if Hughes is gone so that’s concerning.
Paps looked lively was great to see him back out there, boys seemed to lift when he came back on.
Moeroa had an awful game, not sure what was going on poor offloads dumb 6 agains falling off tackles it was weird how poor he was.
Coates was great, Munster got stuck in which was fantastic, Harry got us over the line with some great play at the back end. Thought Nelson’s 2nd spell was decent too.
Should have that top 4 spot locked up now, nice warm up for the finals vs the Broncos next week on a 5 day turn around will be tough, wonder if Meaney goes to the halves and Paps to the back for Hughes next week

Pezet did a Hammy in QLD Cup today too, Halves looking thin all of a sudden.

So no Pezet and possibly no Hughes, who is in line for the 7 jersey?

Decent win although flattered to win by 23. Titans certainly have some decent players and had good passages of play.
Knights topple the Sharks tomorrow and that should be good enough for top 4. Surely don’t play Hughes next week and rest him for finals…
Coates, Munny, Katoa and Hughes our best. Garlick was effective for long minutes…Good to see Paps get 20 but I thought he needed a bit keel to be ready for the Broncos next week

In the presser by CB, he said that Hughes wouldn't play due to the short turnaround.
It's super early days but this bloke gets injured a lot.Papenhuyzen23 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 26, 2023 5:02 pm Pezet did a Hammy in QLD Cup today too, Halves looking thin all of a sudden.

Great to get the win, but still quite a few of the same old issues persisting.
Went back and tried to match the nrl.com play by play to the footage and it’s tough to know for sure. Maybe a leg pull on Tino?
