Fox Sports - Round 14 News
Warriors Team Tips: In a huge boost for the Warrors, star forward Addin Fonua-Blake is firming for a return from the knee injury. Warriors CEO Cameron George told Sky Sports Radio’s Big Sports Breakfast: “He’s been tracking really well. He’ll train (on Tuesday) and could be in the frame for this week.” Josh Curran (elbow) and Tom Ale (ankle) are also a chance of returning. The Warriors will have to push on without teen sensation Reece Walsh and centre Adam Pompey, who are sideline through suspension.
Storm Team Tips: Josh Addo-Carr, Felise Kaufusi, Cameron Munster, Harry Grant, and Christian Welch may be called on to back-up from Origin. Coach Craig Bellamy will need his Origin stars given two of his players are facing suspensions and another picked up an injury. Nelson Asofa-Solomona is facing a one-week ban for a contrary conduct charge unless he is successful at the judiciary, while Reimis Smith is looking at two weeks on the sideline for a careless high tackle. Jordan Grant was 18th man last week after joining the Storm on a month-long train and trial. The prop has been impressing for Brisbane Tigers in Queensland Cup and would be the likely replacement for Asofoa-Solomona, while Kenny Bromwich went off in the first half last week with a rib cartilage injury with Bellamy saying after the game: “I don’t think we’ll be seeing him for a couple of weeks”. Ryan Papenhuyzen won’t return this week with Bellamy revealing there’s “still a big question mark” over him — but “he’s not too far away”.

The judiciary is a lottery but think we have a good shot at getting both downgraded. There was nothing in the NAS one and Smith got duded by the original impact of the first hit and couldn't really do anything different.

elbourne Storm football boss Frank Ponissi says it’s likely the club will miss another home game due to the city’s ongoing COVID-19 outbreak.
The Storm were forced to shift last Saturday’s home game against the Gold Coast to Sunshine Coast Stadium in Queensland, and Ponissi says the chances are “slim” for next week’s clash against the Wests Tigers to be played at AAMI Park.
“We’ve already missed one home game last weekend, but we’ve got an away game anyway this weekend so it doesn’t really matter,” Ponissi said on Sportsday.
“But our now next home game is against the Wests Tigers on Saturday week, realistically our chances of playing that are slim, certainly in front of our supporters.
“For us to miss another (home) game would be really devastating given we haven’t played a home game since April with the nature of our draw.
“We would love to get back for that Tigers game but I’d say that’s really looking shaky."
If the Storm are forced to relocate their Round 15 game against the Tigers, they won’t play in front of their home supporters again until Round 18 when they host Newcastle.
“The next game after that at home is on July 17 after Origin, so definitely we’d be hoping to be (in Melbourne) by then,” Ponissi added.

Personally I think they are very different...
Paps had passed the ball and relaxed. He didn't fall due to another player making a tackle on him, but granted he did duck his head. It was late, it was high, and it knocked him unconscious in a way that we haven't seen for years.
Smith hit the bloke as he was being dragged down by another player making a tackle. If not for the second defender impacting on the tackle, Reimis does not hit him high. The high contact happened around waist height. The player still had the ball. The player was uninjured.
Frank was on SEN this morning - He acknowledged that this week is the toughest they have had in the past two years in preparing for a game.
The uncertainty - when are they able to go home?
Barely any player's families on the Sunshine Coast.
Origin period this year (didn't have it last year).
Injuries.
Suspensions.
Sounds like backs against the walls stuff.

As mentioned in the Titans game thread, Reimis is free to play after successfully having his charge downgraded to a grade one (fine only). NAS was unsuccessful and will miss the Warriors game.
