Good on Pearce and the Knights.
I actually feel sorry for the bloke and Easts fans who liked him.
Ah well. Its a business blah blah blah.
Good luck.

I don't. He is lucky that the Roosters club has a strong "bad humans with good footy skills" policy, or he would already be out on his @ss.Cameron wrote:I actually feel sorry for the bloke and Easts fans who liked him.
I also don't see this as a big coup for Newcastle either. With a young squad, do you really want to poison the culture? If anything, this could have lasting ramifications on the structure of the club for the next 10 years.
It's a big deal for a team who have struggled in recruitment for years now. Pearce will need to mature and show he can be a leader. Not the worst gamble really. I don't like them losing Brock Lamb because of it though. He's a really talented young half.

Exactly! You won’t find worse fans in the game than Manly fans.Mattpoet wrote:Not me, I hate them without the need for anything as high brow as a reason.
There number one ticket holder and local MP is Tony Abbott.Danger D wrote:I was hoping he'd land at Manly so I could have a reason to hate them again.
Feel better now?
We must all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately

Hahahaha. That club already has a horrid culture. Drug cheating? Illicit drug use? And Pearce is going to make it worse?
I'm only laughing right now cos my Newcastle supporting cousin is cracking the shits over his signing but they can do worse than Michelle Piss.
Ah, touché.LESStar58 wrote:Pearce will poison the culture at Newcastle?

He’s hardly going to improve it though.
