No Quarter asked - None given
With four points still in play & the hunger growing let our battle cry be

And yes, how this game is not a Friday night game, I'll never know. I understand that channel 9 pick what games they want but come on... Is the Tigers getting smashed again really going to outdraw Storm v Manly? A potential Prelim Final preview?
This will be a very important game for us. We will really want to finish third (I think Souths have sewn up second) and we need to hold Manly off.
Week 1 of the finals will be critical. Must win IMO and away in Sydney, it will be difficult but not impossible. If we drop that game, we will need to win a semi just to earn a prelim against the Roosters in Sydney. Tough road to the GF.
Not getting ahead of myself though. This week will be a really tough game at Brookvale against the scum.

Even in Manly win in Saturday we may still stay in 3rd depending on for and against and if we account for Gold Coast then it looks like we will play Souffs in week one which is winnable. manly will test our mettle

I wonder ? Are you familiar with the start of Yeats poem 'The Second Coming' ?
It runs this way :
Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,

With all the awesome he's done this season its a well deserved rest,still wouldn't have minded winning this to lock up 4th
before the Panthers last gasp rush at the finals

To be fair,the whole team had a Carige-esque performance in that game and the game was still winnable with 10 minutes leftIce wrote:Taufua has been stood down for them. After last years prelim that's probably not really a good thing for us this week, he was close to our best player
