Slater's hamstring 50-50

Storm Coach Craig Bellamy has declared Billy Slater's hamstring a 50-50 proposition approaching Sunday's clash in Newcastle.
The champion fullback continued his recovery on Thursday as he closes in on a return to football. Slater has missed Melbourne's last two starts against the Cowboys and Broncos and was also sidelined for last week's Origin opener due to a hamstring strain.
"It's a 50-50 thing at the moment," Slater said.
"It's been like that for the last couple of weeks actually.
"He hasn't been comfortable for those couple of games for him to think he's been 100 per cent. The medical staff obviously went on the conservative side which you need to be. "
Slater has three days until Melbourne face the Knights in Newcastle with Bellamy advising Storm will see how the fullback responds to training before a decision is made for this weekend.
"We'll see how he goes today and then have a chat about it," Bellamy said.
"If he's reasonably confident we'll go to the Captain's Run, if he's not we'll pull him out this afternoon.
"He needs to be comfortable within himself."

So if Hughes comes in to FB, do we go Young on the bench or go for some size. I'd love to see Pat K be given a run.
