Jayco and Suzuki stick with storm
It's only $35k. That's literally a pissdrop in the ocean.CooperCronk wrote: We have never had so much media coverage on this town before. The front and 3 back pages in Weds. Herald Sun stunned me.
I just hope we don't lose the Vic. Gov't sponsorship. They are making a decision on Tuesday.

The email I sent to skins
...........................
I am shocked and disappointed for the childish & unprofessional way you are handling the severing of the storm association.
I choose not to associate with you or purchase your products.
I will now will take my business else where and I will endeavor to encourage my clients to purchase other training gear
Due to your handling of this issue more than the severing of the ties themselves.
.....................................
Being a personal trainer I will encourage my clients to purchase elsewhere with and any other person looking for training gear
I will never even use the Skins name in future to speak of compression gear.

Just emailed them. What a bunch of hypocrites.Bourbon Rat wrote: A short response to the parent company pointing out the obvious childishness would be a better option.
After all the Swiss like neutrality & common sense.

Dont you wish you could hack their site and plaster that information all over it....Noa Nandruku wrote: Just to let you know Skins were fined 120k for price-fixing 2 years ago,
they also claimed they didnt pay sports stars to wear there products,
further investigations revealed they paid 29.
It's one thing to withdraw sponsorship - its another to tarnish all of Storm and
behave in such an unprofessional manor.....

Every bit helps, but what's worse, it will be shown in the newspapers as one of the sponsors who deserted.tugga wrote:It's only $35k. Skin HEADs? Perhapsabsentee wrote: I get that they're trying to be edgy - it's part of their marketing - but that's a bit much. Definitely in poor taste.
It always amuses me when a company comes up with an advertising slogan that they think works at promoting their brand, but actually doesn't really pass on the right message:
"To all you fine, needle-jabbing, late-hitting, spineless, scamming cheats out there in sportsland, bring it on! We need the competition!"
To Skins, it would say that they are legally giving sportspeople an unfair advantage. To me, it's Skins saying buy our product or get on the juice. No bugger buying our product, get on the juice - we encourage you!
Can someone who owns the offensive Skins garmets please tell me where they product is made? I'd like to see if they are fair and reasonable with the workers they employ to make their products.

IF (AND I DON'T KNOW) their products are made in china using child labour or cut price adult labour then they would have to be regarded as morally, philosophically bankrupt....particularly with the extortionate prices they charge for their products.
i don't know ...but i think we could all guess given that "everyone else is doing it''...DOESN'T THAT sound familiar?????
