As most of us have seen, the Broncos are apparently chasing Nicho Hynes (sh*t sources though - Kent/Hooper). I wonder what kind of contract they might offer.

Good luck and best wishes to Brenko.
A premiership winning centre for Melbourne Storm .....he will always be a Storm Premiership player!
Hopefully he got some sort of amazing payday out of the Bronchokes...

Bad career move for Brenko.
The pieces were still only falling into place on his potential - but they weren’t there yet and I doubt he meets them at the Broncs

Might have been a necessary career move for Brenko.Shuttlesworth99 wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 5:36 pm Bad career move for Brenko.

CB rarely lets a player walk that he REALLY wants to keep.

This is true. Bad timing of injuries for Brenko - Smith and Jennings is likely the preferred combo going forward.Storm Spirit wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 5:41 pmMight have been a necessary career move for Brenko.Shuttlesworth99 wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 5:36 pm Bad career move for Brenko.

Still better for his development down here for at least another year. He is good enough to earn his spot back
Broncos playing tit for tat with Branco Lee, I actually think it is a good move for the Storm as it will free up some salary cap for us and we can promote from within.

Branco Lee is such a Storm type story. He is a journey man who comes to the Storm plays in a Premiership and plays in a winning State of Origin and next thing you know the big bad Brisbane Broncos are winning and dinning him.

Since making his debut in 2014, Brenko has played 67 NRL games, averaging 8.3 NRL games per year, over 8 seasons.
He is the type of journeyman fringe player that we seek out, give them a simple job and see them flourish. His effort on Crichton in the GF I think really hurt his chances for this year, combined with an untimely injury and the fact we recruited better players ahead of him. So I get him moving on to play NRL games a bit more... I hope the Broncos aren't expecting to see his best football in QLD though. I suspect they are which talks to where the Broncos are at as a club.

Can't find anything on Tyson Smoothy, Trent Loiero or Aaron Booth. I know Booth cam down for a train and trial opportunity at the start of the year. I assume some are on a development deal but there is not much out in the public domain regarding who is signed to what exactly in these kinds of deals.
