Finals week 1 vs Sharks
Tepai wearing the helmet at training I thought a little odd.sallymay wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2024 10:04 amYep everyone got though fine paps looked good
Only Sua Chris and Maz were in the rehab group and Young left early
Bit of concern with one of our forward wearing the red no contact shirt but he did the whole session and did extras so think maybe he does less in the week and more on the weekend if you know what I mean
Position - Left right out or hung out to dry
Practice how you play.Bullucked wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2024 12:43 pmTepai wearing the helmet at training I thought a little odd.sallymay wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2024 10:04 amYep everyone got though fine paps looked good

Gough is not good - blows the pee out of the whistle.Mattpoet wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2024 9:20 pmNo, he's miles ahead of Klown, Gee, Sutton, Smith, Atkins
Gee and Sutton are a mile ahead of the rest
I am always more nervous for week 1 of finals than I am any other final. Including GF.
It feels so imperative to win. Obviously we could still go the long way, but a win tomorrow sets us up beautifully. Don't care how we do it, just want to get it done.

Ramien out for the Sharks
Big loss, I guess atkinson fills in, might be speedy enough to trouble jack if not careful but on the other hand will find Jack hard to contain on the charge. Howarth just become crucial to our success in this one.
F me... penny are looking good here, prob back into premiership favoritism

Not sure who a wet track favours, probably them. I do think Ramien out is a big one, Talakai is slow and lazy and we should be able to exploit him out there.
I’m reasonably confident but a loss isn’t the end of the world, I’m not sure a week off is always the best medicine this time of year so I am quite relaxed knowing we have that second chance and the result isn’t fatal.
