I think bringing back guys who shouldn’t be anywhere near first grade is actually worse than this social media beat up.

In the past years we’ve gone from finding gems like the 4 guys starting in our best spine and playing rep footy to running it back with players who’d struggle to make other teams best 21 man squads. What’s going on with our recruitment?

But man, there's a lot of very disappointed fans due to how they hyped this..... and honestly, that's not fair on the guys we just resigned, they've worked for and earned their extensions, it's not their fault the social media team went OTT.
Exactly, they really screwed up a simple announcement and turned it into something that I think has the potential to make fans chose not to pay attention next time they flag an announcement.

I can certainly understand the love for Noa, but there was never any chance according to Tim Sheens that he was ever going to stay beyond the end of the loan period.

As a mate just said…it’s the Storm way to reflect the worth of all players. Some of these guys that were re-signed played crucial roles at certain times this year. We might want better fringe/depth players…but few if any clubs have top 17 first graders at 22-27 on their lists.

Surprised we haven't signed Alec MacDonald yet and also surprised either Tom Eisenhuth or Chris Lewis weren't re-signed yesterday.

With all the backs signed yesterday does that mean that Young Tonumaipea doesn't get re-signed?
