Does anyone know if supporters are able to watch training at Goschs paddock and if so, whether or not players are able to sign things or have photos?
Got some pretty keen kids wanting to see some of the guys, but wasn't sure if they are still under covid rules or not during pre season.

I reckon a call to the club would be your best bet there 8412 4900

They won’t tell you when they train but considering it’s basically pre season the boys are at aami nearly everyday
And they can have photos and sign stuff if you see them

His kids started school on the Gold Coast yesterday so is assume that means he won’t be coming back unless he decides to play away from his his and wife for a year

I think it’s safe to say the guy has retired

A retirement he deserves to enjoy. Thanks for all the memories Cam. I reckon at some stage in the future he will bob up in the Storm administration or even coaching. I reckon Cam Smith will make a great coach one day. i just hope it is for us, post Belly Ache.

Or maybe in the media for the next couple of years. With Cooper, Billy and Cam in the media, we might get an even hearing rather than the Storm bashing we have heard for the last 15 years by Sydney based goons who use beating Melbourne Storm up as a sport.

With the constant media bashing of Cam I think he deserves a well earned break away from rugby league.

I agree, Cam was mercilessly attacked throughout his career but he never responded and that is part of why he is a winner

Cam did some media in the State of Origin with Fatty and JT and he was extremely good.

So for Cam, it would be easy money and he can still see his kids.

STATS THAT MATTER

(for Rounds 16-20 of 2020)

Points scored (average): Roosters 32, Storm 32, Rabbitohs 31.2, Panthers 29.8, Raiders 28.2, Titans 25.6, Warriors 24.4, Sea Eagles 24.4, Tigers 22, Sharks 21.2, Knights 20.8, Cowboys 19.8, Dragons 17.6, Eels 16, Bulldogs 16, Broncos 11.6

Points conceded (average): Panthers 6.4, Titans 12, Rabbitohs 16, Raiders 17.6, Storm 18.8, Warriors 21.2, Roosters 21.6, Eels 22.4, Cowboys 26.8, Sharks 27.2, Dragons 27.6, Knights 28.4, Bulldogs 28.4, Broncos 31.8, Tigers 33.2, Sea Eagles 33.2

Run metres (total): Panthers 1789, Rabbitohs 1655, Titans 1593, Storm 1572, Raiders 1522, Warriors 1495, Roosters 1480, Eels 1467, Dragons 1435, Bulldogs 1415, Cowboys 1409, Sharks 1383, Knights 1350, Sea Eagles 1271, Broncos 1201, Tigers 1191

Run metres conceded (total): Panthers 1151, Storm 1233, Titans 1349, Rabbitohs 1385, Raiders 1390, Warriors 1391, Roosters 1406, Sharks 1411, Sea Eagles 1471, Tigers 1500, Eels 1536, Dragons 1546, Knights 1564, Cowboys 1601, Bulldogs 1633, Broncos 1660

Tackled in opposition 20 (average): Panthers 39.6, Bulldogs 35.4, Sea Eagles 31.8, Raiders 30.8, Warriors 29.8, Storm 28.4, Rabbitohs 28, Dragons 28, Titans 26.8, Knights 26.6, Sharks 26.4, Cowboys 26, Roosters 25.2, Eels 22.8, Broncos 22, Tigers 21.8

Tackles made in own 20 (average): Panthers 18.8, Warriors 20, Knights 23.2, Rabbitohs 23.2, Cowboys 25, Storm 25.2, Sharks 26.4, Eels 29, Raiders 29.6, Dragons 29.6, Bulldogs 30.2, Titans 32, Roosters 32.4, Sea Eagles 33.6, Tigers 34.8, Broncos 36.4

By the stats we can still work on our defence. We conceded a lot of metres and had a lot of tackles in our own 20. Belly Ache always has something to improve. Last year the stats say, we became an attacking team where we would try and beat the opposition by outscoring them. Hopefully that trend continues this year with all our attacking options. Keep attacking and put points on the board as the game changes to allow for more points.
