What NRL

They call the NRL a national comp - But Channel 9 do not want to include Vic viewers in that. What's with that??? Now channel 9 don't play AFL - Why don't they play NRL?? Maybe Eddie Macguire had too much to say about NOT playing a rival code to his beloved (Hardly) Aerial Ping-pong - Aussie rules stuff! Not happy about staying up till all hours of morninig to watch games!

Long story, painful to relate. If you'd like to - search for the phrase "Nein" and you'll get most of the history. The good news is people are becoming more vocal - we've had a recent article in The Age, there's a group for Rugby League fans in Melbourne that tries to co-ordinate locations for viewing (we'll be hearing more from them on this site soon), Ryan Hoffman gave a slap to Nein after the prelims... It's a rolling force that will hopefully prevail.

Cam also gave them a serve ont he 7:30 report I think.
