I was thinking as I was watching the match today how cool it was to hear the fans actually singing at the game, it reminded me of watching an English football match because of how audible the above chant was for anyone watching on tv. I wish my team had something more clever than "Hazem, Hazem" follwed by the beating of lebanese drums.

I must admit Thunderstruck that I agree with you. I think the heat plus the ease with which Storm started the game didn't help. It wasn't like the Storm needed any encouragement to get over the line.

I think the chanting was louder on tv coz the chanters were in the western terrace now that it is general admission. With the cowbell there were two there yesterday, one on the Marcus Bai Stand and the other was being used by one of the chanters in the western terrace.

I'll have to pay closer attention to the words before the next game coz the words "he didn't sign with...." are different in the version I was taught.

We simplify things up the games in Sydney. All we do is insert the goalkickers name, whoever it may be, in the appropriate spot, and insert the oppositions team name in the appropriate spot. Nice and simple.
