I am informed that Christmas is approaching once more (Where the heck did the year go? :?)
So I guess it's time to discuss what you want, what you do and for the bah humbuggers out there what annoys you about the celebration of the birth of Christ.

Working in retail, what annoys me at the moment is the choice of songs that gets blasted over the PA. You'll occasionally get some poor choices all year around but it gets much worse at Christmas time when almost they play the most annoying Christmas songs - the ones that gets stuck in your head and drive you mental long after they are finished.
It's only Decmeber 2 and I'm sick of hearing Jimmy Barnes' kids screaming Mewwy Christmas and Happy New Year, Feliz Navidad and, god help me, Mariah Carey wanting me for Christmas :roll:

i dont really like christmas that much....kinda worn off now. i just use this time to hang with family.

I agree with Kingy, the novelty of Christmas has kind of worn off.
I did enjoy helping mum put all the fairy lights on the house tonight though.

Might I suggest an alternative Xmas song for you Christabella, it's called The Night Santa Went Crazy and it's by Weird Al Yankovic. :lol:

Lol, aint he the guy that did the starwars parody?

What i want for christmas: BC Rich warlock guitar, iPod, a black goldfish, money, mrs clause (shes a demon!) starwars trilogy on DVD, revenge of the nerds DVD, CDs (too many to name them all) ticket to the BDO (mums already bought it for me ;)) a panelvan, nerd spectacles, a darth vader suit or a santa suit, and an indoor duck (i used to have an outside duck but it got eaten by my cat)

I forget what i do for christmas, i sort of take it as it comes i think...all us relatives get together and have pudding and watch christmas movies and make jokes about how christmas is canceled this year...

KK, yes Weird Al has done a few Star Wars parodies over the years.

Christabella, some other good Xmas songs are Ho Ho F**king Ho and Santa's F**king Roadies both by Kevin Bloody Wilson.

Hahaha yes I know the one.
I actually have a good CD of anti-Christmas carols including that as well as South Park ones, Wreck the Malls, Grandma got run over by a reindeer, I farted on Santa's lap (now Christmas is gunna stink for me) and my all time favourite I won't be home for Christmas by Blink 182.

wow i did it on friday as well...... it looks very average imo.

I am over Christmas, have been for about 7 years now. I dont even have a tree, cant remember the last time i did have one. I just use Christmas to get drunk and not have to go to work :)

this christmas should be better though, I get to spend it at Sussex Inlet with my GF...... on the beach.....shall be awesome....
