I belive they dropped a game this week.

CANBERRA 12 (Prince, Dykes tries, Schifcofske 2 goals) def Melbourne 10 (Slater 2 tries, Geyer goal)
But they had the wood on me.
:(

Slater got MOM :D

History: Played 1, Melbourne 0, Balmain 1.

Note: the Storm have never lost in the Finals :D

TRENDS

- Melbourne will be hoping for cool, wet and windy weather to get the home, but if the weather is cool, dry and still Balmain could have the edge.

- Balmains’ greatest strength could also be their greatest weakness, with a halves pairing of Andrew Walker and Benji Marshall, they are capable of piling on a few tries. However they are also renowned turnstiles in defence.

- In their round 14 encounter, Balmain came out on top in a tough 30-16 victory at Leichartd.

PAST TWO GAMES

- Melbourne – 36-10 v Newcastle at Olympic Park, 16-30 v Balmain at Leichartd Oval.

- Balmain – 28-16 v SydneyCity at Aussie Stadium, 30-16 v Melbourne at Leichartd Oval.

SALARY CAPS

Ø Melbourne – 241

Ø Balmain – 244

Storm will now play the Top team of the Home and away season in the Quater Finals.

This will be a tough game although we have beat them in round 4 (or 5) earlier in the season.

8) :D
