Ads on Melbourne TV featuring NRL players
It's great to see that even though Channel Nein won't show NRL games at a decent time, advertisers are prepared to show NRL players in ads featuring on Melbourne TV.
This topic was prompted by an ad I just saw on Channel 10 for Gatorade which featured Sonny Bill Williams.
Anyone seen any other ads featuring NRL players?
The only other one I recall is Luke Ricketson in the Nutrigrain ad.

I have usually seen the Lowe's ads during games on Foxsports.

out of the loop for not watching enough channel 9.

I only saw the ad because I was watching the cricket. Otherwise I wouldn't have seen it as I very rarely watch Channel Nein.Thunderstruck wrote:out of the loop for not watching enough channel 9.
The ad is actual false in it's claim about seeing all the great sporting events on Nein. Last I heard The Ashes weren't going to be on Nein, or any other FTA TV channel, the Grand Prix's are on Channel 10, their "coverage" of NRL would be laughable if it wasn't so crap. The Superbowl is on SBS and I think the Australian Open is on Ch 7.

So what does channel 9 have? Or do they think AFL games are sporting events?

Apart from the Super Bowl I wouldn't rate any of them as "great" sporting events.Surandy wrote: Last I heard The Ashes weren't going to be on Nein, or any other FTA TV channel, the Grand Prix's are on Channel 10. The Superbowl is on SBS and I think the Australian Open is on Ch 7.
Anyway, cricket's not a sport, it's a sedative.
We must all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately
