Could one of the Storm players do a Kafelnikov and take Poker up professionally, once their playing days are over? I would love to be a Pro. Poker Player but my Pokerface is useless http://www.answers.com/topic/yevgeny-kafelnikov

Actually, I was sorta testing to see how long it would take before you would just move this to the dribble. Wasn't expecting you to ask if anyone minded though. Very courteous of you.Thunderstruck wrote:anyone object having this moved to dribble bar? it's no longer related to melbourne storm now.
Although, I had my money on it being done a little sooner. But luckily poker is a game of skill as opposed to flat out guessing.
I remember my high school, "So what betting comp do you have going on this week?" My teachers would ask.AAS wrote:It was i
but you can blame LR instead LOL
I remember my school camp, my Grade 6 teacher teaching me to play poker with lollies
And what am I taking the blame for this time? Oh whatever it was I'm probably guilty anyway.

Imagine Billy Slater sitting at the felt with a Cowboy hat on and smoking a Cigar laying down a few bets!Op2musPrime wrote:Could one of the Storm players do a Kafelnikov and take Poker up professionally, once their playing days are over? What was a nice try? I'm throwing the fastball right at the side of head - using intimidation tactics here.:twisted:

well, when I posted that, Op2mus Prime's post was the last one I saw so yours hadn't showed up yet. I open several threads at once before reading them.

That's why I use a browser that supports tabs. I can open 10-15 links or more all in one window.

Yeah but the stated opinions/observations aren't meant to be about other memebers of the forum Taliesin...Thats what christa's saying..that what you said was at attack on me..basically calling me unintelligent. Those sort of things shouldn't be posted on forums..Taliesin wrote:*scratch head in bewilderment* There was nothing 'vitriolic or personal' about my stated opinion/observation - That is what a forum is for isn't itChristabella wrote:Since you seem to like v words I just had to add that there is no need for such a vitriolic outbust on an internet forum.Taliesin wrote:The often vacuousness of your posts/topics are matched only by the vapidity they creates
If you are uninterested by what Ally has to offer just don't read her posts, there is no need to attack her personally.
If you have a problem with my intellect send me a bloody dictionary don't say it on a public forum..because then its seen as a "vitrolic outburst"
I've got no problem with you or anything thats not what i'm saying..Just maybe you should think about what you post and how it affects people.
Also LR Now i know what your talking about..although i didn't know they were called Gummi Jumbles..They're yum anyways! But i still prefer my Starburst squirts to be of the joosters variety

I just have 2 questions, at the risk of sounding stupid...
What does "vacuousness" mean?
And secondly, what does "vapidity" mean?
All I know is that theu don't sound nice and friendly.

We do seem to have a language problemAllykat wrote:that what you said was at attack on me..basically calling me unintelligent.
I was refering to the substance of the post & it wasn't directed at any one poster.I'm sorry if you,(or others) took it that way.
BTW : 'vacuousness' means = barrenness, blankness, emptiness, hollowness, inanity, vacancy - IE : a frivolous topic
Which is VERY different from "unintelligent",which I wouldn't call anyone
