Getting to know you: Left eye or Right eye

Sorry - this one might freak you out when next you chat with someone. I have a theory about this one, but I don't want to taint the results yet.

When you are chatting to someone, do you focus on the other persons' left eye, or their right eye? Are you a wanderer - constantly moving from eye to eye. Or are you a middle of the road kinda person - looking pretty much at the bridge of the nose. Or do you, with the utmost of self-esteem, avoid eye contact all together?

I am sorry for this one. When I first started thinking about it - I spent more time thinking about where I was looking than listening to what the other person was saying!

depends - normally eye contact is avoided at all costs... unless i am angry at someone, then it is the unblinking stare shifting from eye to eye but usually starting in their left eye

What if they only have one eye?

Righto - you've had some days to consider and experiment... So which eye is it? My theory is that if you're left handed, you'll focus more on the left side of the face of the person you're talking to - in that case, their right eye. So does this theory hold water? Is handedness related to which side of the face we look at?

Most people just avoid eye contact BUzzno matter what  hand they are

I look at their right eye (from where I'm standing), actually it's their left eye.

It's hard when the person has a lazy eye though.!
