the benifit for this is that the VRU will be scouting in areas where the VRL havent eg. interschool union matches, ive only seen one, maybe 2 VRL reps. i no the codes are different but theres alot of talent going to waste that could be able to switch from union to league. this would encourage more participation in junior comps aswell and general increase in 'rugby' which the new people associate with league and ultimately storm

Asi've said no threat. Rugby starts in feb, and end in may. NRL has a different schedule where the overlap of the games of the 2 codes is minimal...

You are confusing Super 15 with Super 14.

With the introduction of the new 15th team the Super 15 schedule will run until August.
