They try to keep the ball in possesion as much as possible, so they dont wanna throw it around and risk losing it. Plus its a different style of a game, on a kick/punt return or interception they sometimes pass it around. In college football you are more likely to see trick plays and that sort of thing.
If a play is run right, then you dont need to do anything more special, a perfect play will always score.
Im just now looking forward to see some (denver) Broncos players (Lynch and Bailey) have a run around next week in the Pro-Bowl (on espn) which is the best of the AFC vs NFC.
And then.... NRL SEASON. (and afl,nascar,baseball,golf,v8s,lacross etc.. i wont miss my sport.
