Another ripper of a round in the FA Cup and time I head for a little sleep.

First game of the night was one that Spurs fans after 40 minutes thought they were home and hosed and heading into the semi's. But you can never let your guard down when your playing the second best team in the Preliemer League.

Unfortunetly for Spurs they focussed on keep Chelsea out instead of playing the game they were playing and let Chelsea back in with an equaliser coming in the last minutes of the game.

Game ended in a 3 all draw with the replay being played on the 19th and will be a home game for Spurs.

The second game saw Blackburn take on Man City and unlike the two games before it Blackburn game with one thing in mind and that was to win. Going 1 up within 30 minutes showed Blackburns intentions but a second yellow to Mokoena in the 70 minute gave City a slight hope with Blackburn being down to 10 men for the next 20 minutes. City tried hard and while throwing everything at Blackburn near the end saw the Rovers score to move their way into the semis. Final score 2-0

The third game was the one most had their eye on. Could Plymouth take on Preliemer League team Watford and move into the next stage. Watford had complete control and showed the difference between to the two Leagues by going up in the 20th minute. Things started to get a little firey near the end as Plymouth started to get frustrated at Watfords keeping off tactics.

Final score 1-0

So Blackburn and Watford through to the semi's and will know this time tomorrow who they may be playing as the draw for the semi's takes place at 1.30pm Monday (London time) and we wait until the 19th for the replays.

oops, just relieased I have posted EPL stuff in the FA CUP thread. #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o

But to answer your question in the EPL including this one.....9 with some very interesting games coming up.

As mentioned in another thread, Chelsea have the hardest run home out of the top 4 teams.

In the FA Cup and once the replays on the 9th have been played we are into the semis

This years FA Cup final will be played at Wembley after the stadium held a community open day to 60,000 local residents today.

The community day was used to trial everything at the ground to ensure the ground was ready for full oppertation.

A few cost blow outs has seen the stadium come in at 800 million pounds, holds 90,000 people (all under cover) and has over 2600 toilets.

Reports coming for those that attended todays open day have given the ground the thumbs up.

Wembley is up and running with the Under 21 game between England and Itay game being played tonight.

Over 60,000 supporters attended the game to the new home of Football after all the delays from Australian company Multiplex had finally been completed.

It seems like the stadium is getting the thumbs up from fans with this comment.
It is a good thing this game has goals. If it was goaless I would have fallen asleep as the new seating is far too comfortable!

Oh the game ended in a 3 all draw.

from 'who cares' to it doesn't make a difference....come on Perth....it's getting to the business end of the season and your starting to sound like you've already given up.

Expected more, expected a lot more  :?

Look if i was going to see something diffrent to any other season i would be on the edge of my seat right now you have the championship, i think u will bail champions league.  Fa cup on the cards I just get bored of seeing the same teams win year after year.  Its why i have come to apreciate NRL AFL ect where you get varriety every season.
