United 2 - 1 Portsmouth
United at times seemed out of sorts and it wasn't until Rooney come on at the 60th minute that United started to hit it's straps. The first goal was a good cross by Giggs to Rooney right in front and not long after what some could call a cheeky chip by Rooney saw him get his second. A defection saw Portsmouth steal one back late in the game but United still looked in control.
At this stage only two game need replaying with Middlesbrough not able over come Bristol Cityand a draw between Blackpool and Norwich

Well all round 4 games have been played and there will be a couple of replays.
The Gunners were lucky with a late goal to come away with a draw against a team that is fast becoming their a worry for them (Bolton) the draw also kept there not lose a game at their new ground in tacked. (Makes it 17 games in my book, someone may correct me here).
Results from games over night
Arsenal FC 1 - 1 Bolton Wanderers FC
Chelsea FC 3 - 0 Nottingham Forest FC
Manchester City FC 3 - 1 Southampton FC
Wolverhampton Wanderers FC 0 - 3 West Bromwich Albion FC
For those interested the team numbers have been released for the 5 round draw. If your not sure how it works, each team is given a number from it's matched played i.e. Match 1 in the 4th round was played by Arsenal & Bolton so one of those teams will get number 1...and so on. This system continues all the way through.
The 'lottery draw' takes place Monday 1.30pm UK time to decide who plays who with the first number drawn will be the home team.
They are
1 Arsenal or Bolton Wanderers
2 Watford
3 Bristol City or Middlesbrough
4 Chelsea
5 Ipswich Town
6 Tottenham Hotspur
7 Plymouth Argyle
8 Reading
9 Derby County
10 Manchester City
11 Preston North End
12 Manchester United
13 Blackpool or Norwich City
14 Blackburn Rovers
15 West Bromwich Albion
16 Fulham

Middlesbrough move to round five after defeating Bristol City over night
AUSTRALIA internationals Mark Viduka and Mark Schwarzer each played a key role in steering Middlesbrough into the fifth round of the English FA Cup today.
The English Premier League outfit defeated League One side Bristol City 5-4 on sudden-death penalties at the Riverside, with Schwarzer replicating his shootout heroics against Uruguay that sent Australia into the 2006 World Cup finals.
Schwarzer made two fine saves in the shootout, each time diving to his left, after the fourth-round replay was locked at 2-2 after extra time.
Viduka, who missed a penalty in the Socceroos' shootout against Uruguay, equalised in the 69th minute and then slotted Middlesbrough's second penalty into the top left of the net.
