I really mean touch (Maryborough Touch Association), our second game was last night and we showed impressive improvement to win 9-3 :) I didn't score but I'll take pride in throwing the last pass for two of our tries... but I think I've done something semi-serious to my left knee... :(

PS, you'd be referring to its IQ - and 13 would be very optimistic  ;-)

Never played touch footy, but I used to get sore after playing roller hockey (surprise surprise ;-)) but, on the doctor's insistence, I had to make the tough decision to give up playing after my neck was injured in a car accident about 6 years ago :( Otherwise I might well still be playing to this day...

What is this thread? the old mans club ;)

Anyone who says they don't feel it after a game of touch is lying. I dont care who they are, IMO it's one the most energy sapping teams sports known to mankind. At least in Rugby League you can bludge behind the ruck ;)

I really have to say that the only way that Boofa played at that kick from Orford was if he cracked a fat.

There's no bludging behind the ruck if you've got a half decent halfback.  Bloody little Hitlers telling yer where to run all the time. :x

I book in for remedial massage every Monday after a starting game so I'm usually right by Thursday night training.  But methinks I'm getting too old for this...
