Certain games are telecast by FoxSports and others by channel 9. Even though channel 9 will not show a game live, Foxsports are still not allowed.

Yet Rugby is telecast live on both ch10 and Foxsports2 simultaneously.

Why can't NRL games be telecast on ch9 and Foxsports? Or at least if ch9 refuse to show it live?

Go Storm it is all to do with the specific broadcast arrangements. A few years ago Seven wouldn't show Wallabies matches live nationally, the anti-siphoning laws were changed and the ARU agreed that Fox could show matches live. That agreement has continued on.

The NRL have allowed Nine the ability to show three matches a week before Fox are allowed to.
