Can't have such a high profile player out at Origin time now can we? The NRL have tickets to sell for Origin 3.  ::)

Im bleh about the decsion. Personally I think we're to quick to rub our players out for to small a offences usually, so while I agree he lunged with his head the impact was minimal.

To use a basketball term, No harm, No foul.

What about intent...

Does that rule then apply to all cases... No Harm. No Foul.....
because you could apply that to at least 90% of the cases.

Hayne showed a great deal of disrespect to other players
and the code. The images that the kids have seen has brought
the game into shame....

So whether it did any harm depends on your view......

Judge each case own its own meirts, unless you think Slater should be charged as well for trying to drop a forearm onto the back of Haynes head.

Head butting is not what we want our kids to be learning.  The guy wears a pair of boots and every kid wants a pair but it is ok to let a "role model" get away with this?  How many kids do you think will give this a go on Saturday morning?  Even the tackle that caused the dust up was very questionable.

I personally dont want kids to learn sliding with knees/feet or throwing elbows either,or grappling
but its ok because is Masterslater right? be fair his just as bad as haynes "Headbutt" if not worse
no intent to harm shouldnt have even went to the judiciary

I am so glad that Hayne got cleared because he provided NSW with the same thing he provides in all his big games: absolutely nothing. Lets have a look at what Hayne has done on the big occasion: 2009 Grand Final: nothing, playing for Australia: nothing and playing for NSW: nothing.

And he is meant to be "the best player in the world." I don't think those performances equate to anywhere near the best player in the world.
