Nacho it's Thurston not Thurstons.  At least Cam not winning eliminates the hoodoo that surrounds the medal and the GF.

Thurston won it in 2005, Cowboys made the GF but lost, last year Cam won and well we know what happened.

John Howard stood up Bush to get his photo op at the Dally M awards.  He must really be desperate for the exposure, perhaps because of how low he's been in the polls.

Regardless of that, surely someone relevant could have been invited to present the award instead.

well what a good night it was! :D i would also like to point out that robbie farah so thought he had it! then a huge shut down for him! congrats to thurston! he deserves it! great player, dedication and a communicator! also congrats to our boys! izzie,cam,craig and DALLAS!!!! Difference is that Farah gets noticed more. He is a champion playing in a poor mans team, whereas Cameron is a champion playing in a champion team.  ;D

Congratulations to all the Storm boys and Craig Bellamy.

I felt sorry for Robbie Farah in the end - by god he was absolutely gutted!  Mind you, I probably wouldn't have felt bad for him if Cam had won instead of bloody JT.

I can't believe, after such an outstanding year, Billy was not even in the top 5 for fullback of the year.

And lastly, how the hell does Nathan Hindmarsh win the Provan Summons medal 3 freaking years in a row?!?!

They don't get much to cheer about out Parramatta way so they vote for the Provan-Summons in record numbers.
