Film looks ok, but like the other one that came out last year (footy legends?) i think its going to go off into love dovey crap with families etc, not my sort of movie.

meh....yer i can agree...although i only saw footy ledgends when i saw it in the bargain bin at kmart....that film did well...lol
looks good...think critics will like the fact some very big names are in the film including johns....havent seen it yet...dunno if i should wait for it to come onto dvd or shall i watch it at the pics??

Well I went to Fountain Lakes opps Gate Cinema to watch The final winter, yesterday evening
I was the only one in the cinema to watch the movie.
I did not mind the movie, It was a hell of a lot better than footy legends.

I thought it was ok. I didn't really expect it to be anything flash, but it was a bit better than I thought it would be.
Haven't seen footy Legends so I can't make any comment on that, but if you're interested in the history of league, The Final Winter is probably worth a look...I noticed a few familiar faces from bygone years in it, which I thought was cool

This is a cracking movie. Ive seen it twice already. The action scenes are awesome.

My expectations of the night were way too high, at least the movie was funny.
