Yeah, that is the way I see it, they are good for a laugh not much more, and on that note LOL at Eddie McGuire and Guus Huddink.
I like the idea behind it as having a channel like that would help with off season boredom but I can't see it happening any time soon.

There used to be a 24/7 Rugby League channel on Optus Pay TV.

why do afl get one.....surely an NRL one would be better....

mate everywhere besides nsw and maybe queensland afl is more popular then league and more fanatical fans

so you give an entire channel to city's with a smaller population..... some people wouldnt even have foxtel in other states....NT, WA, SA...... imcompetant fools imo......... it would help promote the game around Australia too and most importantly in Victoria.....they could screen past origin games and tests to Vic to attract people......could show storm games...... if they did make a channel, they better have some 7's games.

Can't think of anything else at the moment but it would be a really great channel to watch imo.

it's a good idea and maybe Fox and Channel 9 could do a deal for the SOO to be shown LIVE in VIC, if they follow the fox footy channel's esample and have a channel for every state they could show every Storm game(especially the GF), the SOO games that have been down there, with the only interruption being a live NRL game either a rep or club game.

it's fairness to the other major code of football in this country(lets face it no one really cares about Union and Soccer) Foxtel already has channels dedicated to the code that made Eddie I love the sound of my own voice Mcguire(did he play the game or is he just the Collingwood president?) famous.
