the new mob have released a favoured top 10 that they want reduced to 5 by a public vote
again they seems obsessed with stupid american sports franchise names,
i voted stingers, at least it has a design potential and is not seppo to buggery [titans my arse, you think without the stupid denzel washington movie we'd have a titans option!]

It wasn't stupid...

Marlins sounds a bit American, but I voted for that coz it sounded the best out of the other options... and about three months ago, I was having this exact discussion on possible names for the Gold Coast team after the Dolphins were dropped, and I came up with Marlins, Stingrays, and something else that I thought was good but can't remember now... it's funny that my first two have actually been suggested!

One of my friends came up with Mudcrabs and Mermaids!!
And another mistakenly thought I suggested Piggles and liked that! :shock:

I voted for Gold Coast Pirates.

I can't believe that was the best they could come up with. I'd love to see the ones that didn't make the shortlist as they must be real shockers!!!
