Also, if Cam Smith does retire, I hope Munster steps up like that for us! I feel that he has just played his role and let Cam run the show, but if Cam goes it could very well be his team to control.

Nah mate, Eddie as in "Eddie Munster".

Thoughts on tonight's game?

NSW are favourites at $1.50. QLD are outsiders at $2.60.

Much like last year - and especially due to the impacted camp that QLD have had - it is hard to see QLD getting up in this one. I hope I am wrong, but it could get ugly...

I just don’t know who will score try’s for qld ...all the try scorers seem to be in the nsw team

QLD's two most important players (our two lads) are so underdone. If the Blues forward pack can control the middle I'm not sure QLD can handle how fast NSW's spine and outside backs are.

Coates having a shocker. He’ll want to play a lot smarter with us than he’s showing for Qld.

A poorly selected QLD side. Never again can you go into a SOO game with players not fit. Pick some backs who are backs. Kaufusi is also reaching the end of his SOO career. Needs to lift big time.

The QLD forwards were just totally dominated. On top of that, the NSW backs (1-4) were putting their hands up for tough carries all night but the same can't be said for QLD.

NSW will win this series 3-0, and dominant each game I think...

Seems Nathan Cleary has sustained a pretty serious shoulder injury in SOO. Apparently he got scans and it wasn't the best news - surgery required. He is now seeing a specialist to look at options. Some speculation online that he could spend 6 weeks or so resting, then needle up to play the rest of the season and postpone surgery to the off-season. We saw with Slater though, that doesn't always work out.

Barely anything in online media though, for what would be huge news for the competition...

Cameron Smith scratches his @ss at 7am and there is 14 stories before lunch time. It's almost as if the Sydney media are holding their collective breaths, praying to the football gods for some good news.

Game III moved again.

Sydney --> Newcastle --> Gold Coast.

So all three games in Qld this year...and Qld will lose them all.

‘Your questioning is always aggressive’: Kent, Brandy’s tense exchange over Blues selections
Mysterious Staff Writers
Fox Sports
Paul K*nt wrote:Would you rethink the decision now of who you play at six and seven for NSW if you had the chance again?
Brandy the Sook wrote:“no, probably not. Mitchell Moses, a difficult game for him, making his Origin debut in a game where we weren’t as good as what we had been, and I thought both (halves) defended really well. If there were question marks over Mitchell’s game it was whether he could hold up his own defensively, I thought he was fantastic in that department. Even though camp and preparations went well there was always the chance it wouldn’t gel under game conditions... but I wouldn’t change the decision of picking those two.
Paul K*nt wrote:Moses and Wighton didn’t click as well as NSW hoped they would have. Why did the coaching staff only find that out during the game? Mitchell Moses had no runs for no metres. We heard all week about how Mitch doesn’t have to do anything, all he has to is kick the ball... well it appears he took that literally.
Brandy - Huge sarcastic smile. Head shake. Sigh.
Paul K*nt wrote:I’m not trying to have a crack at you.
Brandy the Sook wrote:I think you are (having a crack). Your line of questioning is always aggressive. Paul, Mitch Moses was not told not to run the ball, if that’s what you mean by coaching.
