So who do us parochial Victorians support tonight?

I used to lean towards NSW in the early days when it was Lazzo, Kimmorley, Howe, Kearns, Geyer etc donning the blue jersey, then we had all those QLDers come through so I became more of a neutral.

I'm leaning towards QLD because 1) they're the underdogs and 2) I hate Sydney

QLD.

Well done boys. All the Storm boys put in good digs.

On a side note, can't believe they let Cordner back out after yet another concussion - 4th for the year?

Huge win for QLD that! Up there with one of their most shocking. NSW were heavily favoured by most pundits.

Agreed, all Storm players did very well. Such a shame for Brenko to miss out. I was impressed and shocked with Kurt Capewell. He was electric.

Yeah well done to QLD, all Storm boys played well which was the main thing for me, though Fus was injured and looked in trouble but he was OK.

Apart from the fact NSW should have been allowed to have one last play, I thought the ref did a fantastic job, put his whistle away and let them play. Best ref performance all year.

Paul Kent is calling for him to be sacked because 1. He let the Storm win the GF, and 2. He let QLD win.

Turns out Sutton was correct calling full time when he did.

Kent is an absolute moron, Sutton had a great game, he put the whistle away and let the teams play.

Well I expect Kent will be completely humble, admit his mistake and provide a heartfelt apology, right?

Am a NSW man myself, but avoid admitting it too often around Storm fans as we seem to be quite outnumbered!

Hate to say it, but despite us having the better team on paper QLD are far more hardened. Bennett kept their game simple and the players just went out to do their job.
Seems like we are just trying to jam all our best players in the side like a broken puzzle. Playing Fullbacks and halves in the centres...it just doesn't work

Works for a Premiership though! We play 3 fullbacks and 1 GOAT.

I personally can't believe how much people wrote off QLD and still are writing off QLD. Yes, NSW has the better team on paper, but QLD still has a great team and what worked for them was the team chemistry. If NSW and QLD were facing each other in a match after a season together, I'd bet on NSW but QLD has better chemistry on Wednesday, they kept it simple!

4 fullbacks and a Goat if you include Nicho off the bench.

Yes, there were moments this year where we had a fullback in each spine position, crazy.
