DCE's signing with Gold Coast Titans and then his massive backflip didn't endear him to any Queenslanders.

No mention of any teammates in attendance, notably Smith and Slater... anyone know if they attended?

Cameron Smith was a no show.

Looking summery, the groom decided to forgo a more traditional black suit or tux for a powder blue suit.

While the bride donned a spaghetti strap a-line gown with a beaded bodice and which featured a flowing train at the back.
Known for his measured, relaxed attitude, the groom's mentor and former Melbourne Storm coach Craig Bellamy was the surprise packet of the day.

The 58-year-old, more commonly seen in a simple black blazer, was seen arriving in a loud shirt, emblazoned with a stitched floral spread that threatened to upstage the venue's immaculate flower arrangements.

Cam was on a family holiday. I guess this is the only time he has to have off all year. Evidently the truffle eggs on brioche were to die for.

NOT SPOTTED

Cameron Smith at former Melbourne Storm teammate Cooper Cronk’s wedding at the glorious Jonah’s up at Whale Beach on Thursday afternoon.

There have been whispers Smith and Cronk’s relationship has been icy since the star half announced he was shooting through to Sydney for love ... and the Roosters.

However, on this occasion Smith’s notable no-show was due to a pre-booked family holiday after a jam-packed but wonderful season that included an Origin series triumph, NRL premiership, World Cup and Golden Boot award.

The truffle eggs on brioche will keep Cronk and his new bride Tara Rushton returning to Jonah’s for years to come.

I think there is something to that tbh. It is quite odd that seemingly both Smith and Slater were not there... Family holiday is a cop out excuse.

Agree. Sounds a bit off to me. Hope Cooper had a great day all the same.

It's a bit bizarre that you'd miss a good mates wedding because of a family holiday or a rift. Maybe it turns out they all hate each other haha.

Just a cop out? What twaddle.
Who knows when the wedding was organised? It might only have been 6 weeks ago. It's leaping to a massive assumption that Billy and Cam chose to book their one holiday for the year just so they could avoid going to Coop's wedding.
Anyway, if there is bad feeling, it's just as likely that the other two weren't invited as to assume they declined. More likely actually - Cam's the ultimate professional and if he was invited and available would undoubtedly go, if only for the look of the thing.
We must all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately

Slater was at the wedding, there is photos of him, Chambers and Bellamey arriving. There was meant to be only 50-60 people there. So after family you can not invite the whole team. But I agree it is odd Smith was not there, but if the family holiday was arranged before the weeding invites came out, you can understand that Maybe Barb do not want to go. :)
