nothing provoked him.

if he did ..dont you think hutch would have come and said something?

The sharks club come out in the news and said exactly what happen. Hutch had been at jacob for weeks...challenging him to lift more weights then he could. jacob finally got pissed off and said he didnt want to lift the weights...hutch then "play punched him" and jacob put his hands up covering his face and walked towards hutch ...hutch thought jacob was coming at him to fight him so wacked him agian...breaking his nose.

Even still if he did say something..which he didnt (thats what the sharks club says) he still doesnt deserve to have the crap knocked out of him.

Hutch could've walked away(which is something you should do if someone wants to start a fight) but he didn't.

Its in the Islander/Kiwi mentallity that if someone challenges you to a fight(which Hutch thought Jacob was doing) you don't walk away but you accept the challenge.

back on topic, its nice to see the police doing a great job.........I have one problem though............

I live in the Sutherland Shire and they have road blocks coming in from Heathcote Road which is one way that people from Bankstown can get into the shire. the cops search your car but I was very surprised. they ask where u are going and what for. On saturday night i passed through these about 4 times and not once did they check for weapons. I could have had 4 million bombs in the car...... im just a little concerned with this....

Surely you can't expect them to thoroughly search every single vehicle that passes through. At least they are checking where you are headed, but even this is annoying people. A friend was complaining because it took him 45 mins to travel about 500m and he was simply on his way to visit relatives in Brighton.

Sure it can be concerning when you think about it but that's unfortunately the sad reality we live in, there is potential for terrorism everywhere.
It reminds me of the Washington sniper from 2002 where the car with the weapons passed through the police checks in the city countless times without being caught. The police do the best they can to protect us but they can't do everything.
