You know sweet fark all! You could be wrong.... and are.

Ribot was campaigning for cap concessions around 2001-2003 and was constantly turned down. He quit as CEO in 2004 in the fallout from neglecting to report an alleged sexual assault to the NRL.
I actually read it from the Terrorgraph a year or 2 ago, blame the source not the reader

I guess even Ben Franklin thought the print media was beneath notice  ;D

WOW!
Yep, agreed! And he's the second most highly rated player Storm have bought since their inception year. Says how good the club's development has been, doesn't it.
And of our 5 superstar homegrown players (Slater, Smith, Johnson, Cronk and Inglis) only one (Inglis) was ever regarded as a recruiting coup.
All the rest have been home grown, fringe first graders and rejects.

Compare that to the Roosters (say) and their long list of purchases.

OR Sam Burgess's transfer fee not being put in the cap but Fuifui's kids having to pay to watch his home games,Gallop has his head up his ass
JWH from roosters $250k was a bit steep for a toyota cup player

I feel sorry for you guys because you made talent, you didnt buy it,was all completely grown at the Storm

Yeah, how does that work? And like Burgess is really only getting 1 million over 4 years. I guess gallop's philosophy now has to be "don't look unless you find something else"

The Announcement will be today 2:00 pm.

Gallop has run the game into the ground so far that we are unable to keep our most valued stars.

$6m over 4 years - for someone that has never actually played the ping pong game.

IMHO let him go, drain their coffers of every last dollar, be crap at their game, making a mockery of their administration, and come crawling back in five years time.

While they sign off on a billion dollar TV deal.

The NRL could learn somthing from the AFL admin.

I agree with FinchyBoy.

Signing Izzy is a promotional tool for GWS to try and capture new supporters to afl in NSW and more importantly, capture future younger kids to try their code and why wouldn't they, the money on offer is double what the nrl has on the table.

AFL doesn't rate on TV in Sydney, so I can't quite see the link between signing Folau and the value of their TV deal.  They were expecting that kind of money before the signing, and I expect it won't have changed after this afternoon.
