Reports this morning are emerging that the NRL are peeved at Manly for not notifying them that Brett Stewart was ALLEGEDLY involved with an altercation with another women 12 months ago.

The report is saying that the NRL are asking for a please explain as to why the club did not inform them when discussions where being undertake for Stewart to be the face of League of the incident.

I'm sure more details on this will come out over the weekend.

If its true, I don't find it boring at all...their supporters are the most ungracious winners of a gf I have ever experienced.

I know they are horrible and I hate them too, but everything going on is just crap. It just gets boring after a while, being talked about all the time.
LOL @ Des Hasler saying they are under the radar now.

But I'd much rather read how a bulldogs junior thought he needed a passport into Qld or something.

I'm actually quite glad Manly won today, because it supports the idea that they depend on Stewart to the point where they are lost without him... all it takes is a conviction, or injury, and BOOM... Manly are in trouble!

On the other hand, I consider Storm to be a very clean club in regards to off-field incidents, however I do wonder sometimes what the club is able to sweep under the rug...

You are probably right, but the police have upgraded their charges on him...so there might be more evidence that we don;t know about.
