The Chief Quits the Footy Show

OMG he has quit because they are changing the show around

who will take his place

Which former player or player will take over

my first thought was Billy or Willie cause they are special guests sometimes  but that is stupid cause they are still playing

then i thought bring back stirlo but he wont come back

then i thought gus but noone likes him


ummmm my head is spinning with too many people

With radical changes to the NRL Footy Show in 2009, Paul 'The Chief' Harragon has left the show. That makes it 2 original members that have left the show in three seasons joining Peter Sterling. That just leaves Paul Vautin as the only original member since the show began in 1994. Wonder if that also means the end of my favourite segment "THAT'S GOLD".

used to be a fan of it...but has gone down hill the past few years.

i know its supposed to be a light hearted show...but instead of putting netballers and tennis players on they should get more league players on and talk more footy. Or atleast change the name of the show...to 'hey hey its thursday'.

They're riding a dead horse. Drop it and replace it with an hour long serious league program.

Then replace the sunday footy show with iron man.

The Chief gone? No loss, his best contribution was being someone that the others made fun of. And he wasn't even much good at being made fun of. The show really has an identity crisis.
