the ESL is reported to expand from 12 teams to 14 teams , do people think this will increase the rate of nrl players leaving or will the english start finding some local talent instead of importing it from our league?

Mate, the English don't know local talent even if they got shoved into their faces, just look at their soccer clubs. By the way, how's the English team doing in the European Cup? ;-)

Yep, it's a worry for NRL.

Considering most top teams in ESL have great local academy & junior systems in place it's hard to justify buying talent from overseas, but they continue to do so  :? What matters to those that run Super league teams is success & bums on seats, which are NOT conducive to giving young local talent a decent chance.

Cashed up ESL teams + greedy player agents = Increased player drain in NRL

Celtic Crusaders, Salford (need a Manchester team) and Toulouse. One from the current 12 to miss out - probably Cas.

That last team certainly has nothing to lose.
