Hey people,
Not sure weather this is the right place to ask but hey never mind.
Myself and my partner are life long Wigan RL supporters, and are taking a trip of a life time over to Oz in November this year.
Unfortunatley when we booked our flights, we wasnt aware that the Tri-Nations were going to be on. So we are travelling to Oz when the Tri-nations are over in England. (great timing or what !)
Just wondering whats the situation over in Oz trying to watch the game, with the Time Diff, its going to be 430am in Oz.
We are in Melbounre, Sydney, Brisbane while games are on.
Is it best to watch the game live or just wait till the replays are on....
Cheers
Craig

It's really up to you as to whether you watch them live or not. You might have some problems with watching them live in Melbourne but should have no problems is Sydney and Brisbane.
I presume that there will be replays on Fox Sports but I'm not certain of that.
Have you allowed for daylight savings in working out the time difference? Melbourne and Sydney have daylight saving, Brisbane doesn't.
Hope you have a great trip.

I watched the 2002 World Club Challenge game between Knights vs Bradford live in Melbourne. Were the Ashes games shown live last year?

Just looked at the dates of the games, no games are on whilst we are in melbourne, but whilst we are in Sydney GB play Aus. Over here it will be 18:00 on a Saturday so if ive worked it out correctly it will be 04:00 in Sydney. Not sure about the daylight saving.Surandy wrote:It's really up to you as to whether you watch them live or not. The first two only show listing one week in advance. Foxtel is one month in advance but is subject to change a lot of time.
I remember watching the Bradford v Penrith game live on Channel 9 but I can't remember them showing the Ashes, I think that was on Fox Sports.

The three test series against England was live, 5:30am from memory but the other tests Australia played against Wales and France weren't. But Foxsports replayed them. I think at about 6pm.NZ Storm wrote:I remember watching the Bradford v Penrith game live on Channel 9 but I can't remember them showing the Ashes, I think that was on Fox Sports.
1800 Saturday UK would be 0500 Sunday Sydney.NO.1 Warrior wrote:Just looked at the dates of the games, no games are on whilst we are in melbourne, but whilst we are in Sydney GB play Aus. Melbourne - Sydney - Brisbane are curently +9 hours on UK time,(UK daylight saving). As UK daylight saving ends, OZ daylight saving kicks in,(but not everywhere). That makes :
Melbourne - Sydney +11 hours
Brisbane +10 hours
