I had the Dallas (Cowboys) vs Denver (Broncos) game on the background and saw the player lying motionless on the ground. Wasn't aware it was former Stormer, Rob Tanielu until he was stretchered off the medicab. Hope he's okay and up and running for the Cowboys in the near future

From leagueunlimited.com: Tanielu to make full recovery
That would be tough on him to have to quit playing, but given the nature of the injury, Tanielu might not have any other optionMedical experts are confident North Queensland prop Robert Tanielu will make a full recovery from a serious neck injury that may still end his career.
Tanielu has regained feeling in his arms and legs but is still suffering from a "burning" pain in his hands and feet following the injury, suffered during Saturday night's win over Brisbane. It's Tanielu's second serious neck injury and doctors have encouraged him to think seriously about continuing in rugby league.
The 24-year-old had neck-fusion surgery in 2002 to correct a bulging disc. Cowboys doctor Greg Winter says that injury could have played a role in Tanielu suffering severe bruising on his spine this time.

Yes saw this on Fox sports news - the cowboys medico virtually said it would be worth his while to stay away from contact sports. Hope all goes well for Robert.

He was doing alright in recent times
The first injury was what messed him up at the storm, he catted it after that

I really have to say that the only way that Boofa played at that kick from Orford was if he cracked a fat.
