It's a step up from the previous one and I guess it'll develop with the new season.
One of the great features if you sign up to the site (or re-sign for Season 2006) is that you can download a great screensaver which incorporates a countdown.
It's certainly worth a look.
It's just a click away:

Up the Rovers! Go Storm!

Fired up the NRL website on my brothers pc yesterday & 'discovered' the new website. I was intending to show him the collection of Storm flags available in the shop.......................NO shop on the new site
Back at my place the old NRL site was still up on my pc,(still in the memory cache ).This morning the new site has replaced it,although it is very slow to load on dial up,(sponsored by big pond broadband right )
OK it looks pretty & has 'video downloads' but I'll wait & see if it maintains a decent news content & adds live game stats, etc through the season.

Dance and laugh and play. ignore the message we convey.

Yes I too am reser ving judgment until the season begins. It must be known whether live scores will be visible on the home page as they were with the previous version. If it becomes anything like the AFL site where you have to open 4 links to find out the scores I will be very disappointed. There is very little other reason to use the website when all the relevant news is copied on to various other sites.KINGY wrote: when i first saw it i didnt like it....now, well i dunno..ill wait to see how it looks when its complete.

I just hope the live scores are bit more upto date and speed. If sites like LU and others can have live scores almost to the second..then i dont see why nrl.com cant.

it's been updated, I'm doing my tips at the moment you can do one for every round but I'm leaving out 2 games in 2 rounds.

She's gone! The wicked witch is gone! Oh - I like snowballing too!
Unless you have broadband 70% of the site is in slow motion & the video/TV section is UN-WATCHABLE !Surandy wrote:Why? What's the matter with them?betweenthelies wrote: try the video replays for a dose of lima lima lima duck

I loved the first of the "best tries" footage.
And it looks like the NRL have given the live game stats the arse - in favour of 'mobile scores'
