Australian Shane Millward and former Great Britain player Terry O'Connor will share the Widnes captaincy next season.
Millard will be in charge on the pitch, while O'Connor, y'know... from Wigan, takes on the role of club captain.
Does that mean that they can win the toss every time by calling heads AND tails at the beginning of each match?
I also see that Bradford have two captains, Robbie Paul is now Club captain after his general loss of form and Jamie Peacock steps up to become team captain.
So when Widnes play Bradford and both teams shout heads and tails maybe they'll have to resort to a bit of Biff to decide ends and kick off

JJ:
Who do you reckon has been the best Storm captain so far?
Oh I understand the set up of these double captaincies, JJ. I also reckon it's a mechanism to avoid lowering the standing of a loyal servant eg Robbie Paul at Bulls. My comments are really tongue in cheek aimed at the double captain idea. The coin tossing bit was just a joke. Whoever motivates well on the field and generates positive club vibes off the field has my support whether they're labelled captain or not.Millard is the Team Captain(on-Field and does the coin toss)

dual captaincy
IMO it's a terrible idea & detracts from the position. The captain should be the leader both on & off the field.
best Storm skipper so far
With the exception of Rodney Howe,( I still think the captaincy was a bribe to stop him going somewhere else),I think we've had excellent captains.
I also think Glen was the best so far.
