Ok guys, there really isn't a place to post this type of question on here so i thought this would be the most appropriate place.

The Spam is starting to become really annoying, i was just wondering if the admin/mod are doing anything to prevent further spam.

thanks.

Mate, I (and other mods) are deleting em as fast as we see em but it's hard when you have work etc & can't get on to do this 24/7. Trust me if we weren't deleting accounts just about every time we log on there'd be a hell of a lot more spam here....damn hard to keep up with the bots :(
Will try to get Buzz to tweak the signup process maybe to stop them setting up accounts.

Thanks mate, appreciate the work. I know it's a hard thing, you guys will definitely need to change the sign up process. Perhaps put a section of personal answers and leave a message above that section saying 'DON'T ANSWER THE BELOW QUESTIONS TO SIGN UP' that way only the bots will answer the questions and you can there prevent them signing up. just a suggestion. keep up the good work.

Doing our best mate, as Tigger said.

Bots and maybe GTS. Either way it's a win. :-D

I think it's safe to assume that the current spate of spam is not really bot driven :?
More likely it's the work of childish minds with too much time to kill

Doing a great job guys on deleting the spammers. This might sound silly but what about adding a captcha function in either in the account sign up or even during the posting function? However im not sure if the spam bots are one step.ahead on captchas. If not Buzz, i think you should make every new member give a lock of their hair and a saliva, blood and urine sample :)
