Have only discovered this forum. Was wondering where Storm fans chatted & am a regular on the RL boards on Bigfooty.com & am registered on LeagueUnlimited.com as well. Good to meet a solely Storm form where we can discuss the team.

If anyone saw the giant flag being waved at the Acer Arena after-match after the Grand Final, it was mine. I'm an expat Sydneysider who walked away from rugby league during the Super League War (only to return supporting Newtown Jets in the NSW Premier League). Moving to Melbourne meant I suddenly saw rugby league differently. I  wanted to watch it & be different. Plus having moved to Melbourne I wanted to ensure rugby league stayed in the city so I could watch it when I wanted to.

Two years later & I'm standing with the Smash Em crew up the back of the Eastern Stand & was lucky enough to go to my first Storm Grand Final which was a truly amazing experience.

I have only one question for you........why no yellow on your flag??       I miss the yellow being a more prominent part of our brand, it's such an eye catcher

Because there is no yellow on our present jersey. 

If they add yellow again, as I have heard they will, I'll rip the flag apart & whack some yellow panels on it. It needs to be bigger too. 3 metres is too small.

Ahhh if you look closely at the jersey you'll see yellow - it's in the Storm logo
