Congrats King Smith. We all appreciate you tremendously right now but we'll appreciate what you've done for this club even more once you've hung the boots up. It's human nature not to fully appreciate what you have till it's gone.

What are peoples thoughts, can Smithy play another 56 after this one and break Lockyer's record? Although Parker who sits on 312 games could make the target higher for him to achieve the most games.

He can get there, I hope he does. Could you imagine how the Sydney media would feel if he also broke the test appearance record so the games record holder for first grade, origins and test was a Queenslander who played for Melbourne? The push to get an asterisk inserted somewhere by the record would make a dinosaur feeding frenzy look tame lol.

Superstar. No words do him justice. Very fortunate that he plays for us.

Congrats to Cam on a huge, rare milestone and a wonderful career so far.

If there is any fairness, AAMI Park should be filled to the brim and LOUD in support for and celebration of Cam's efforts for the Melbourne Storm.

We have been utterly rubbish over the past few weeks but I am tipping us to win well this week. If the boys cannot get up for Smithy - and in a BIG way - this week, I don't know what to say.

Deadset legend of the game and an even bigger legend for our club. Going to be great to celebrate his 300th on Friday night.

I like the idea of naming one stand the Cameron Smith Stand and the other the Nikau-Lazarus Stand as a throwback to Olympic Park.

LOVE IT...JUST DO IT NOW....
Remember this day, men, for it will be yours for all time

I would just like to say I think Melbourne Storm is doing a great job with Cam's 300 game. It has been really good so far. Again no input from the NRL and completly being ignored by the Daily Telegraph. He is captain of Australia and should be acknowledged.

I remember when the rumor was out that Richard swain was about to be let go Most of us were up in arms with the club over this. How could such a prolific tackling machine not have a contract offered to him.
Chris Johns called a meeting at Crown casino with members of the MSSC and explained to us that they had a young guy up at brisbane norths that would be the next greatest player and that he would be replacing Richard Swain. If they did not bring him down to play for the Storm now, then they were certainly going to lose him to other clubs circuling him.Ribot and Johns sure got that one right ,the rest is history

How good had Swainy been for us? Yes there was definitely uproar. But Ribot and Johns were certainly right.

How good is the celebrity tribute to Cam on Storm website? All the ex-Storm boys paying tribute including Hoffy, Sisa, Tolman, GI plus V8 drivers, Michael Clarke, AFL players and Al Clarkson.

I remember that. Chris was so sure that it was the right decision.
And it was!
