Oh and knights got 3 of their tries off pathetic penalties so we should of won by atleast 14 tonight if it wasn't for the lima lima lima duck ref cheating.

On a more positive note I thought the team reaction after it was the best possible. They held their heads up, shook hands immediately and walked off.
A bump in the road. Still very confident the season is ours.

If Cody Walker had started the season he would've progressed nicely and we would have a quality goal kicker. Just saying.

Well that makes sense - their defensive effort would suggest they weren't really concerned about the result.

My reaction at home wasn't so restrained... sorry neighbours!

Like I said..klown will hand nites the game. how could they pay penalty against Chambers when both were going for ball in last few minutes. Commentators even said wrong call by ref and should have been Storm ball for nites knock on, so it should have been goal line drop out to Storm. klowns marched them down with 4 minutes to go.. then gave them extra 2 penalties for good measure to keep ball down their end. The f word slipped out of my mouth and there was no way I could stop it.

Completely gutted by the effort and defensive performance.

But mostly I'm sick of being outraged by the absolute blatant match fixing by Ashley Klein in every game he has us.

Was happy that Craig publicly commented on it.
We were poor but a a differential of 10 penalties between the two sides was disgusting.

How Archer or Smith can defend Klein when we don't win a penalty count with him ever, irrespective of score and especially as there is no such thing as home ground advantage when we have him in Melbourne.

He was chief ref and awards us 1 penalty, it was the second ref who awarded the 2 others. If you went through our history with him, he gives us next to nothing and just coincidently awards penalties when the opposition needs a leg up.

I'm sick of our games being influenced by him and frankly the Nrl is happy to take my money for memberships, merchandise etc but allow us to be subjected to this treatment just lima lima lima duck pisses me off.

I know we will play better and have faith that this was just a poor performance due to attitude and a short turnaround.

But this treatment year in year out continues to disillusion me. We have lost or equaled the penalty count in 15 of 21 games and people complain that we are protected!

We weren't good enough last year but in that first QF last year , had Souths been on the end of the absolute disgraceful refereeing with the no try's and lack of penalties , they would have replayed the game or just given them the win.

But being a non Sydney club and not being the Broncos we are subjected to a different set of rules. (2006 gf still referenced as being the most suspect refereeing by commentators who hate us says something)

I love our club and our players but this game will never be more than an amateur sport until some equality and credibility is brought into the game.

RANT OVER

Let's be real, we haven't beaten much the past month.

Rnds 24&25 should tell us how were really going

Actually thought our best performance was against the bulldogs and even though they have gone backwards they were playing like a top 4 side when we played them.

I expect to beat Penrith ( unless we play like we did today), always thought the Roosters game will show where we are at.

On the plus side when we do bow out, I'm supporting our 2nd side The Rabbitohs, god knows they have copied enough of our game plan, standards and taken our casts off.

I couldn`t have said it better myself....I don`t rate klown as a ref but just a baised tosser. When Cammy questioned the penalty count klown didn`t even want to listen to Cammy.

Bellamy will get a fine from the nrl this week. Well earned I say.

so the nrl make a killing off clubs cos the coaches are disgusted with the most inept reffing. Last night toovey blasted refs..Instead of fining clubs the bosses of refs should sit and watch the games with the coaches through the week and explain the decision making in games. Then decide who should have to pay the fine...refs or coach...The clubs should band together and go up against the referees.
Too many games this season have been decided by inept reffing.

Waddell would have been penalised if that play was 50 meters up the field, definitely not square...however you don't get stripped one on one like that ever...the cheer leading from the commentary box meant there was no objective look at that.
