Does anyone know when the teams are named, can't wait for origin to be over so that we no longer have to worry about our boys being hurt in a contest we (as Victorians) could not care less about.

Ben Hunt has been really good this year. One of the reasons why Brisbane aren't terrible.

While I agree he's been much better, he is still so far from being an Origin half it's laughable. Thought that Friend was a chance for the bench yet he hasn't even made the squad

Well obviously not since he was picked in the squad. His season measures up to the rest of the top halves in the comp.
I'd imagine he's there to cover for DCE, and they don't think Smith is in any doubt, hence why Friend wasn't picked.

I suppose the other option is Milford at 5/8, though it is unlikely
