I wish him the best in the remainder of his career,so glad he got a good place to head to,will look similar to Barney the dinosaur and make an impact

we need some impact of the bench so this is a good move. I have some doubts about his fitness and level of commitment but I'm sure Bellyache will get the most out of him.

As I have said elsewhere, I am not convinced he will be worth the investment however I am more than happy to be proven wrong and will support Rose completely if/when he ever pulls on a purple jumper.

I'm happy with the signing of big Georgie.. I rekon he is going to be a force off the bench next year!!! Bring on 2014;-)

I wasn't sure about Clint Newton...but he played in a Premiership.

I wasn't sure about Richie Fa'oaso...but he played in a Premiership.

I have no idea about George Rose.....because I am a Member not a coach.

He might be a Premiership player.

He'll add depth to the forwards, that's about it.

What we need is Mclean and some of the other young props to really progress this off season.
Young, Big and with some Leg speed.. Like the Burgess brothers.

Old fat and slow.. Ryles 2.0.. hopefully with less Penalty's in him though..

I'm fine with fans being happy with whatever the Storm do. But IMO this is a different circumstance to those other 2 signings.

Give him a few 'extra' off season sessions with the Maidens on their Mayhem Mondays ;)
That should 'soften him up' for a bellyache pre season :twisted:

Welcome George! one of the Storm's infamous pre-seasons will see a trimmer, fitter George I reckon...and hopefully (like so many others) he will show his gratitude for Storm seeing something in him and giving him a 'second life' in League that Manly couldn't or wouldn't. From all accounts he's a nice guy. As he's potentially replacing Ryles do we look forward to episodes of Rose's Posers, or Gorgeous George's Gossip? I hear he's a bit of a hard case so let's hope so?
