His agent is probably just using the meeting with Bellyache to put pressure on the Broncs to up their offer.

What's the thinking on captaincy this year if Cameron passes the baton,, who else carries themselves with poise and dignity on field and show's leadership and commitment?

I guess Dale or Jesse are frontrunners but I'd like Kenny. I think he's a natural leader but also a calm presence and has the added advantage of probably having an extra 2 or 3 years in him over the other two.

Now that he’s learned to pull his head in, Munster has captain written all over him.

I wouldn't give it to anyone old or soon to be off contract. Munster would be hilarious but Paps seems like the guy we're going to use as the "face" of the team so he makes sense.

The most likely candidate is Jesse unfortunately.

I agree Sallymay, ever since his time in the Under 20s I thought Christian would be our NRL captain at some stage.

I would be very happy with this much more than many of the other choices. He keeps a cool hand on field whereas the others can be a bit rash or even petulant. Referees need respect (like it or not) and they will (hopefully) give it back.
But until that day comes, long may live The G.O.A.T.

I feel weird about a prop being captain. They don't play 80min so we'd need to have someone take over when they're on the bench.

SC Falcons players Paul Ulberg, Patrice Siolo, Bessie Aufaga-Toomaga and Tyson Smoothy training with the squad to potentially earn a spot.

Does anyone know anything about the young SC Falcons players training with the club? Do any of them look like likely prospects?
