We all genuinely know that the hoo-haa was never about mid season transfers as such......it was about Melbourne Storm benefiting from a transfer that might allow a late season rally when the entire NRL world thought that this was FINALLY the season that Storm would fall out of the 8 and fail to play Finals footy.
Remember this day, men, for it will be yours for all time

To be fair he's asked for the release, it doesn't yet appear to have been granted.
While taupau to eels is no different than nofo to storm, we all know the media won't say Jack... or if they do, it's all storms fault, see, we told you the nofo signing was the start of the sky falling

Do we reckon the Club landed a middle forward by 5pm as was being reported by Brent Read ?
Seems like certain Clubs weren't interested in moving on players even though they're out of Finals contention.
That's ok....one day they'll come knocking and I hope Storm tells them to lima lima lima duck off.

Tariq Sims does it again.
Shoulder to the head of a Sharks player, 10 in the bin and I'll be surprised if he plays again this year.

We must all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately

If we are actually looking to the future Trent and howarth should be the starting second row next year. After all we did sign howarth on big money makes no sense for him to not get any game time this year with the injury toll we have had and no starting spot next year, and I’d prefer Trent over sims.
With NAS, Welch, Tui & Tepai up front plenty of experience in the pack still.
