This week Don and his talented teammates turn their focus to the might of Melbourne. The reigning premiers, the Storm sit in second place following another solid, professional start to the season. On Monday night, though, they’ll be without Origin stars Billy Slater, Cameron Smith, Cooper Cronk and Ryan Hoffman – and the Titans know they’re vulnerable.

“It’s a good time to get them with their big four players out,” Don admits.

We’re missing ‘Birdy’ (Greg Bird) and Nate (Myles) but it’s still a bit of an unfair advantage to us but they’ve still got a quality team across the park and their defence is still going to be very good without those players. It’s still going to be a tough game.”

We have a massive bench again this week: Ryles, Garbutt, Vave & Moors.

Ryles into the starting team at backrow. Hinchy to hooker and Griffin to the bench.

Half time thoughts, were playing really tough, obviously missing tge class of our origin stars but the boys are diggin deep, particuarly the forwards, theyve been great. Benny is having a strong debut, getting rag dolled but going well. Waqa the enigma doin his best rocks and diamonds impression. Brett Finch has had afew nice touches but his kicking has been hurting us, Widdop has put in afew nice kicks, he should take the reins. Im not really that confident we can keep hanging on, we need points and we need to start risking afew plays. Keep up the effort lads!

Great first half from the boys. Forwards have been really strong. Its obvious we lack class at the end of each set but the chances are there. Benny has been impressive so far. Tohu Harris has been unreal so far.

Very winnable game. Lets hope we keep this intensity up.

Tohu and Benny know each others game very well.

Big watch in the 2nd half.
