Will be flying up at 9am Saturday and watch the AFL GF somewhere and fly home at mid day on Monday. Will get our game tickets on Monday but will obviously be sitting in the designated Storm section.

Does anyone know the details on ticketing i.e how many seats for each category(I understand there's 14,000 left for members but which categories), best way of buying tickets, what the deal is with the limit and whether we've used our full entitlement for the season.

All categories will be available but the majority will be Cat 2/3 which will be several bays on a corner (from memory) allocated to the Storm. Best way to get them is go to an outlet if you can but if you can't then getting them on the phone/online is easy enough these days. Not sure of the allocation numbers but maybe they might restrict them to one per member given they're limited? Hopefully the NRL send out the email today to give us all the info we need.

I see after party tickets at All Phones arena are now available for $20. (non members $30)

Thanks Ice.
And just out of curiosity, I've never purchased GF tickets before and I imagine there's a few in this forum who might have. I know this year is different because it's already sold out bar the 14,000 members, so I was just wondering how hard it is to get tickets, or if you get in right on 10 should you be fine?

After having the night to sleep on it, I'm not sure if I'll go. Once I start adding up all the costs, I'm not sure if I can justify spending so much for one day. Don't get me wrong, I would love to go. I just... I dunno. For the amount I would be spending to make it there I could renew my membership and maybe pick up a new jersey for next year - and then still have some left over. Tickets are on sale Monday so I suppose I could change my mind - but of course, the cost of making it all happen would probably have gone up by then.

Does anyone know which supporters bays we've been allocated this year? Every other year we played, we were in the Southern bays so 140-146. For that reason, when I got my tickets in July, I got 145. Just want to make sure I'm not at the opposite end or I'll have to buy tickets again Monday!

Can't wait - fly up Friday, back Monday... weekend of celebrating!

Hey Absentee, keep the jersey you've got and pay off 2013 membership in installments. If I had the slightest opportunity to go I would be there in a heartbeat. But unfortunately I've just recently started a traineeship which currently has me on 1/3rd of my regular pay and struggling.
This is an opportunity to enjoy a moment you'll never forget
